Xerox B235
Xerox's smallest office multifunction, and the least-known machine in this catalogue by a distance — which is a shame, because 36 pages a minute with a 50-sheet feeder, fax, duplex printing and Ethernet is a serious specification. It is built and priced like a small business tool rather than a household appliance: a monochrome LCD, no touchscreen, no styling, a straightforward web interface for administration. The toner is a 3,000-page cartridge at about $108, which puts it at roughly 3.6 cents a page — slightly worse than Brother's equivalent and in the same ballpark as every other mono laser here. Worth looking at if you want an alternative to the Brother/HP duopoly, and if you can live with an interface that expects you to know what you are doing.
