MAXIFY is Canon's office line and the GX6020 behaves like it: 24 ISO pages a minute in black, all-pigment ink in every channel, and a colour bottle rated for 14,000 pages. That last number is what makes it interesting here — a colour page on this machine costs less than on almost anything else in the catalogue, because the colour ink lasts more than twice as long as a typical tank printer's. All-pigment also means output survives a highlighter and a damp envelope, which dye tanks do not. The trade-off is photos: pigment on plain paper is built for documents, borderless photo printing is absent, and the 600 × 1200 print resolution is a document resolution. Buy it to print invoices and reports quickly and cheaply, not to print pictures of the dog.
